Where Macrame Went

I'm having a summer wedding solely as an excuse to wear one of these. It will be so very grand as I stand beneath my light-up inflatable arch.

Could I really be the first to comment? Amazing. MB, rock on with your soon-to-be wedded self. Just... not with the knitted crown. I think this is one of those moments where you choose to either embarrass your future children or not...

I bet you can save by knitting it yourself!
I am still wondering where you found the inflatable arch!

Where does she find ANY of this crap? Not sure whether to laugh myself silly or be scared to death of what you'll find next, MB.

The scary thing is, MB can find this stuff because there's actually a demand for it.

20 years from now, some woman will look back at her wedding pictures and go, "Why did I wear a basket on my head...oh, yeah...that's right..."

But when I think about it, it'd be great to go back and pick out the tackiest stuff I could for my wedding. Just to see what the results would be.

I don't know, MB. Does the hat go with your wedding gown? For those who don't recall it, go to:

At least you aren't going with a macrame wedding gown - I was holding my breath until I followed the link. That's taking "holey" matrimony a bit too far.

How do you find this stuff?

My vote is for the rainbow heels...

Oh, Constance. Why did you give me that link? I'm afraid I'm going to have to defect to the pointier crown now.

Forget the gowns you've seen. Nothing screams elegance like this beauty....

OMG Dantelope! You've outdone yourself! :)

But if you think about it, my dear dantelope, that would be the only wedding dress that could be put to use AFTER the wedding, instead of ending up as moth-fodder in the basement ;-)

I personally love the way the webpage loads, with the two side photographs oh-so-dramatically flying down from the top.

All these wedding posts are hysterically funny and terrifying at the same time, mostly because I'm learning of things I never dreamed existed.

never EVER dreamed existed - and I think I'm very glad that I don't have to do all this wedding planning stuff again. Yikes! Keep 'em coming - just rolling here!
