How was your weekend?

Mine was roary.

There is a great deal to be upset about in this picture; whatever that is I'm kneeling in, for instance, and the fact that there is now photographic evidence that I wore a fanny pack TO A NASACAR RACE, but above all I'm excited that the newspaper didn't print my age in the caption.

BLONDECHAMPAGNE SCAVENGER HUNT EXTRA: Find Josh the Pilot and Oogie in the picture!

Cool pic :).

Okay, I have to say it (well, maybe I don't have to but I shall ;))... I couldn't help but giggle whilst reading this post because, well, "fanny" means something just a tad different than "butt" here in, appropriately enough, the Land Down Under ;).

I hate to have to say this... but it may be time to actually jump from a tall building. *grin*

You actually went to a NASCAR race? On purpose? *shakes head*

OMG! You are so famous now! I didn't see Ogie or JTP. Did some drunk redneck woman try and steal them? That might have been me!

You actually went to the race? I am so jealous.
Can you normally yet? Are you still finding bits of tire in your hair?
I'm pretty sure you weren't the only person there (male or female)with a fanny pack. But, you have hard photographic evidence of your "fashion faux pas"
I'm not sure which is the better place for people watching - a NASCAR race or my local Wal-Mart on the weekend.

gryphonesse, you should have seen this book Oogie and I found in one of the gift shops. It was called "In the Groove" and the display said, "The First NASCAR Fiction For Women." I want THAT on my resume.

Yes, folks, Tink was the best girlfriend ever and accompanied me to the Pepsi 400, and she said she might even go to a race again with me! Actually, for that day Oogie was my girlfriend because it was her connections that got us in.
To Heather the Reader, until you've been to a race, you have not lived life to the fullest, but I understand your head shaking. And thank you Gryphonesse for pointing out that there are those of us Nascar fans who are college-educated, have all our teeth, literate, and good-looking too! Be sure to ask MB about the Jeff Gordon pit crew member she and Oogie couldn't stop drooling over...
