Jammin' (Albeit, Only on the One)

There is a new Site Which Is Awesome 'Acause It Hired me: JamsBio.com. Don't go there yet (psychelink!); we're still in beta. When it's live, I'll let you know that the drywall is all nailed up, at which point I hope you will come say hi and click on stuff. Both New Kids On the Block and "Lucille" are involved, you guys. You have to come. You don't even know!

JamsBio is a bloggish site which invites its users to create an autobiography through the framework of songs. It'll be open to anyone who wants to come over and play, but I'll be part of the--and this is quite possibly the most specious phrase ever associated with my writing-- "assured quality content." So some cross-linking is going to start happening up in heah, and if you don't mind the occasional Olivia Newton John dissertation, you are most welcome to take up your Champagne flute and wander from the Tasting Room to Globe Records and Tapes from time to time. Joey-Joe McIntyre is totally waiting for you, OMG.

also Danny-- why didn't anyone ever like Danny? at: mbe@drinktothelasses.com

My ranking of the members of NKOTB was as follows:
1. Jordan
2. Joey
3. Jon
4. Donny
5. Danny

I think the low ranking had something to do with Danny's hair. I'm not sure though.

The new site sounds great. I'll look forward to checking it out!

Here's mine:
1. Joey
2. Jordan
3. Donny
4. Jon
5. Danny

And, I have never met anyone who had Danny first. Weird? But, the site sounds awesome. I can't wait!

I ranked Jon over Donny because he seemed more accessible to me. Jordan was too hot and probably a player, I reasoned. Joey had the youngest, littlest, cutest thing going for him. But Jon--tall, awkward-seeming, quiet--I had the sense that I might actually have a shot with him and thus ranked him third after the two most obvious prizes in the group. I know now that Jon was dating Tiffany in the height of the NKOTB fame, but I didn't know it then. In hindsight, I can see how he might have preferred a beautiful, red-haired, fellow pop star to an eighth grader who was too ashamed of her own singing abilities to try out for the folk group that sang at all school masses.

Also, Danny's last name is Wood. Heh. "Wood."

For the record:

1) Donny
2) Joe
3) Jordan
4) Jon
5) Danny

I can't plug in a Crock Pot, but can remember The Order.

But my sister's #1 was Danny. She's the only one I knew who put him first. She was like 9, so who knows. :) Who could forget the order. It was sacred. :-)

I SPELLED HIS NAME WRONG!! Donnie, forgive me-- I got married, and it was like our love never existed...

At my elementary school, it was commonly agreed upon that Danny looked like an ape-man.

1. Jordan
2. Joey
3. Jon
4. Donnie
5. Danny

I would revise that list now, but I was young then and Donnie frightened me with his bad boy ways.

Danny was my favorite. Also, I like monkeys. Not being mean at all, but doesn't he kinda look like a monkey?
