Sweetness

You may well ask, as we often do, "What hath God wrought that is fearful in the world of pastel candies?"

I give unto you: Unworldly Huge Smarties.

That's my own scale-providing hand there. I tried to take a picture of the 'Roid Smarties alone in their disturbing hugeness, but it just looked like I zoomed in for an extremely tight Glamour Shot and tried to put one big blonde one over on you, my trusting The Readers.

Will someone please explain to me the resizing of all our sugared goods? I enjoy the One Huge Kit Kat rather than the four smaller ones, and snarfed the mini baking M&Ms until the the M&M people figured out that I liked them and took them away from me, giving me naught but a green CGI M&M attempting provocative poses for comfort.

I am not a particular fan of Smarties, except maybe the white ones, which I suppose makes me a Smartie racist, which is uncomfortable, particularly at dinner parties. Josh The Pilot, however, loves all the Smarties of the world. The upsettingly large ones have pretty much made his life worth living at this point.

"They're just like the small ones," he points out, "only they're really big." Ah.

I had a psychology teacher back in high school who gave us smarties before exams. You know, to smarten us up!
P.S. Your wedding ring is lovely!

I thought I was the only one who favored the white smarties over all others....

Smarties are just not supposed to be that big. Beware the mutant Smarties!

I like the little ones better 'cause I don't feel guilty about eating the whole pack.

The M&M minis were so fab!! The big huge honkers kinda scare me but they're good for chucking at people. ...I hear. (And the Ogre sized ones with peanut butter were tasty.)

Oooo, one huge Twix would be amazing. It probably should not happen, I'll eat them all and be on the news. My husband and I just bought some of the ginormous Smarties in Sacramento when I left him at "Camp Snoopy" (CHP Academy). He saw them, giggled like a little girl, danced, and immediately threw them in the basket like a 2 year old. See, the Smarties, to him, are the best invention ever. I personally favor orange taffy. That is all.

I agree MB...big Smarties are unflattering...and that little rush or chill that you get when you pop the smaller one in your mouth - is big time over done with the larger economy size. In fact, I'd swear Smarties off completely. Well there goes the Smartie business.

*Say No to Big Smarties!*

Can we just go ahead and blame giganto Smarties for the huge obesity crisis in this country? It would take the onus off of McDonalds and I can go back to eating my 3 pounds of fries and my gallon of diet coke.

Oh, and I enjoy the giant kit kat too. It seems chocolaty-er and crunchier.

I think that one's definitely "more chocolaty" because chocolatier is the person that makes the chocolate...which has got to be just about the best job in the world!

You're all forgetting the Reese's Big Cups.

I really miss them.
