Summer of '77

One dead Elvis, one dead Kenobi, one white jumpsuit that made everybody else want to join them. I don't remember it, but it was my first one, and I'm assuming I found it enjoyable. Between the formula spew, and all.

actually didn't understand why someone would bother putting together a slide show until I remembered how old I am at: mbe@drinktothelasses.com

Ooohh, these are among my first real memories! I was 7 in the summer of 77.

I am old. Old Old Old. Sigh.

What about the autumn of 66? Where's MY slideshow?! Remembering how old I am is painful, but the slideshow would help at least a little... :-P

I was 17 in the summer of '77 and had just graduated high school. I'd forgotten how many really good movies came out that year.

I was 4, but I guess 77 did make a big impression on me aswell, since Star Wars and Close Encounters are not only among my favorite flicks, but also strong defining factors of my whole persona.

I still remember the hand signal you know (da da daa da DAAA). It may come in HANDY one of these days :-)
