Fun Season While It Lasted

I should go to a bar and find some Michigan fans. The only thing worse than losing one's season opener is losing it to a school which advertises its library's stock car collection.

We love App State! Go Mountaineers! That was an awesome game!

I wonder how they fit the cars in the interlibrary loan bin...

I wonder, if you were to do the geneologies of the App St team, would they all be on the same tree and would it have any branches?

Of course the same could be asked about the Georgia Tech team that beat ND yesterday so I probably shouldn't make comments like this.

I also wonder, knowing about redneck NASCAR fans, are most of the books in the collection picture books?

God, I love the south.

Wow, remind me not to invite classickelly21 to our house for BBQ and sweet tea anytime soon. Too many App grads and native southerners for comfort, I'm sure.

I'd come to that BBQ, as long as there's proper sweet tea. That, and outside of my own, App State is now my favorite. College. EVER.

MB, you are most certainly invited, and I promise you, my sweet tea does not come from a powdered mix or any other such nonsense. Just iced tea and too much sugar, as the Lord and Dolly Parton intended ;)

As kids, when we used to travel with the family, my brother and I decided that the Mason-Dixon did not delineate the real South. The Sweet Tea line did. As soon as you could order sweet tea in a restaurant without getting the "Huh?" face, you knew you were almost home.

I always understood that West Virginians tended to have family wreaths. Of course, they did have the good sense to pick the winning side during that unpleasantness between the states.
