Advice To the Newlywed

Read, as I am, The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Your husband, no matter how many pieces of the non-dishwasher-safe Farberware he proceeds to put directly in the dishwasher, is going to seem awesome.

I just finished "The Other Boleyn Girl" (about Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn) and "The Boleyn Inheritance" (about Anne of Cleves and Catherine Howard) by Philippa Gregory. I don't know if you're into historical fiction, but they were incredible.

Isn't it crazy that there's no emotion in anything. It's like total social war all the time. And they all had to be on their toes, too, because if Henry decided he didn't want you around anymore (like Thomas Cromwell), well, too bad for you.

I can't stand it when he uses scratch pads on my Pampered Chef "non stick" pots, which are now very "stick" instead.
