I Won't Be Back

I saw my first Terminator movie last night, courtesy of Rifftrax. It was the one with all the explosions.

For precision's sake, I just looked it up, and it appears I was exposed to T3: Rise of the Machines. Claire Danes' fiance is killed in the first act, and she reacts, predictably, by whining. Visine flows freely down her cheeks, not because her fiance is dead, but because... "He was killed because of me!" Claire. It's not about you. Dude's head is splattered all over a wall and a lovely picture of the two of you complete with IKEA frame, and all you can think about is the legal ramifications.

I called Josh The Pilot when it was all over and told him that I hoped he never got shot in the face by an assassin robot, and he simply accepted this pronoucement without demanding explanation. You have no choice but to marry a person like that.

Isn't it wonderful when someone just GETS YOU? I knew my husband and I were meant to be when I didn't have to explain my non sequiters.

I'm glad that's you and Josh, too.

I would suggest, it's a good job you are marrying him then ;o)

Claire Danes maybe all whiney and you may want to shoot her in the face, but at least she hasn't got the whole 80's sheep looking hair do going on like whatshername in the first two. I'd be thankful for that one. :o)

Hey everybody, I think she likes me! :-)

T3 wasn't that bad, but it was crap compared to the first two.

I did like the villain, though. :D

I do that too, and I also have "you ever do that and I'll kick your @ss" declarations, which my now-fiancé (as of two weeks ago, I now have my very own sapphire engagment ring!) thinks is great. A man that lets you be you and understands your dorky or non sequiter moments (I have a lot of those) is a great thing.

MB,

Where can I send my copy of "Drink to the Lasses" for an autograph? Is it still the same address as on the web site?

Thanks,
KR

Same address through April, KR :)

Jcat, congratulations! Yay, Sapphire Gang!

Thanks, MB. I decided years ago that wanted a sapphire engagement ring (whenever I got that far). I sent my fiancé (then boyfriend) your post (and all the pro-sapphire ring comments) when you and JTP became officially engaged. He was worried that it was unheard of to not have a diamond and that no one would know it was an engagement ring. Thanks to you (and all the other commentors) for a reference for my side!

Looks like we've started a trend, babe. Sapphires rock!

Sorry, no pun intended. lol

Maybe you did started a trend with the sapphire... or maybe you just went ahead of all the ERAGON fans ;-)
