I Decide Who Lives Or Dies

I am once again a Nielsen household. I got a big ol' envelope with two ratings diaries and a doubled salary: $30 in cold hard whore-cash instead of the $15 I got last year. They must have heard about the high-end treatment I've been receiving as a Big Time Author, and the price of my opinion has skyrocketed.

So far I've watched a documentary on the life of Dean Martin (on purpose) and an hour-long discussion of the history of the shovel (by accident; the phone rang after Dean was over.) See, America, you can totally trust me with representing your viewing habits.

memories are made of this at: mb@blondechampagne.com

I missed the Daytona 500 for you, babe. In return, will you put this Sunday's race into your viewing diary for me, even if you're actually watching "Bridezillas"?

Apropos of nothing, but how does a comment get approved to be here and then deleted when it gets here?

Just wondering.

Also, if you're taking more requests, I watched at 11 pm and when it ended at midnight I switched it to the DISH Network simulcast of Sirius satellite radio, Channel 12, Super Shuffle. (Currently playing: "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger. Awesome.)

The people who made the shovel documentary are going to be thrilled that someone actualy watched it. You're bringing happiness to others, way to use your power for good.

Could you help out Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? This is the one true pleasure of my life, and I fear it will soon die.

Mike,
That was me inflating the comment count on here.
No, what actually happened was I wrote something, but then I wanted to add something to what I wrote, however Blogger does not let us edit our comments so I had to delete the original and write a new one.

Ah. I see.

Indeed, MB, the ways of Blogger are mysterious. The huge link garbled up what it's supposed to read: "I watched 'Mad Money' at 11 pm . . ."

I made the mistake of saying I would be a Nielson home whole on maternity leave. I also made the mistake of telling them that we had 5 TVs. Those diaries still haunt my dreams. Never again!

Mike, Super Shuffle rocks!

I'm a Neilsen person too. I've got the box and everything. Therefore I now represent the views of the masses! Except that I don't have cable and never watch television. BTW, they pay me $100 AND I got a pie!

Dude, you got PIE?! I didn't get no pie!
