Oooooooooooooh

Did everyone enjoy the Brady Quinn "Flushing My Draft Pick Down the Toilet" Bowl? Excellent. By the middle of the forth quarter he was throwing passes that came with their own sound effects. You could actually hear the ball go "whoopwhoopwhoopwhoop", Stooge-style, as it wobbled cheerfully down the field. Well done, Notre Dame. Our band, however, was most impressive, which is the most important thing. They played "Volcano" at halftime! And then formed one! Featuring the Irish Guard, now with Dry Ice Action!

As I have not only no love, but negative love, for Ohio State, may I offer my heartiest congratulations to the University of Florida for producing the following image:

Aw. Man. When the dude with the chest O is bereft, we've little place to go as a society.

It was a great game. But I have to say... any marching band that can spell Ohio in cursive is pretty impressive. Even if one member lost his/her hat on the field.

Living in the central swamp area we have many friends who are genuine Gator fans. We spent the evening with a group of about 20 cheering on the boys that the media "experts" said would lose. What a way to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary of football.

Living in the land of the Wolverine, I proudly support my Bucks. Yes, I get major grief come the Big Game, but I revel in it.
I'm still a Buck fan. They beat the Maize & Blue this year.

The cursive Ohio was pretty cool, but that game proved and important point…the SEC kicks butt!

Unlike MB, I harbor no particular ill will toward The Ohio State University (I don't get that — are there more than one?). However, it's their fans whom I don't particularly care for — the jerks, I mean. The snobs who bombarded ND-related blogs for the last year saying how much better Troy Smith was than Brady Quinn and how much better OSU was than ND.

Whoops! 41-14 doesn't taste too sweet, does it?

I'm more of a mind that we beat ourselves as much as LSU beat us — our 2nd half playcalling was stupefying, leaving the defense on the field the entire half to get manhandled by LSU's 9½-foot Leviathan of a quarterback who looks for all the world like he should have the Heisman and the #1 NFL draft selection.

But now the point is proven: good defenses can make even the best quarterbacks look silly. So I take a certain wicked delight in OSU's loss even though I had picked them to win.

Hey, MB! Think of it this way: Brady's disastrous night might cause him get drafted by the team with the third or possibly fourth pick — Cleveland. :)

The news of your engagement was such a tough pill to swallow - I just could not focus on the game, reading the defense, finding a receiver, etc. Now its back to the fetal position in my darkened room.

all those other dudes are unoriginal. unoriginal but right. The news of your engagement was such a tough pill to swallow - I just could not focus on the game, reading the defense, finding a receiver, etc. Now its back to the fetal position in my darkened room.

Who can think of football when Apple just announced the iPhone?

I mean, c'mon people.

Did you notice what the "Best Damn Band in the Land" formed at halftime? The Titanic. Sinking. Why did anyone think that would be a good idea?

Uhhh, Leak and Tebow seemed to get over it.

Just keep in mind, Tom Brady was a sixth round draft pick......
