Happy Birthday to you, MB.

EEEK! You just made me realize that I'll be 29 this year!

I was reading and going 30...I've got awhile. THEN I saw 1977, and was like... Aaah!! I was born in '78! When the heck did THAT sneak up on me!

:)

You are talented, gorgeous, and engaged to a wonderful fella. There are worse places to be at 30.

Happy Birthday MB! The closer I get to 30 the younger it seems.

Really...30 isn't so bad. You can refer to yourself as 20+10 for an entire year!!
Or you can do what I did...start going backwards. I'll be 28 again this year!
However you look at it - have an VERY happy birthday!!

I'm a dork.

I forgot to actually say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :)

Happy Birthday! I hit 30 in October, and it's not so bad. I think 31 will be tougher, because, you know, then that's old ;)

Happy Birthday, MB! 30's nothing; I passed it nearly 8 years ago. Age is just a number anyway!

Happy Birthday, MB!

Age is irrelevant and a stupid, petty way to judge the progress of your life.

* You are not stationed in Iraq
* You are not the drug-spastic child of an idiot celebrity
* You are not without the ability to house yourself
* You are not facing the world without marketable skills
* You are no longer an unpublished nobody
* You are not without love or family

I could go on and on... but I'll leave that as an exercise for your own happiness.

Who knew the Dantelope had a serious side? Surprise, surprise.

P.S. Goal in life: die happy and memorable, whether it be tomorrow or in seventy years.

P.P.S. By "not stationed in Iraq", I meant "not subject to the horrors of war", not a political statement or dig at the men and women who serve.

P.P.P.S. I wish there were a way to edit comments.

P.P.P.P.S. Is there really such a thing as a P.P.P.P.P.P.S.?

Happy Birthday to YOOOU!

Did the birth certificate have to say you were single? Must they mock you only minutes after your entry into the world?

(Yes, I know that's not what it meant.)

Congrats on 30, M.B. You'll always be about 2½ years older than me. :)

Joyeux Anniversaire MB!!

I turned 29 last week... I think I'd rather be 30 because everyone says it's so great.

So, now there's one more reason that I'm jealous of you.

Feliz CumpleaƱos!!!

Make that 3 bottles. You know, one for every decade ;-)

Happy Birthday MB! I thought my 30s would be horrific, but I gotta tell ya, they've been great! I hope you have peace and joy in the year to come.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I recently realized that I have been measuring my life against that of my mother. Each age milestone sent me into a tizzy.

Now that I've celebrated my 2nd annual 39th birthday, I've realized that the number doesn't mean much (except to my mother, who really doesn't want to admit that she has a 40 year old daughter). If my own doctor was surprised to notice my age on my chart last week, I think I'm doing okay.

Happy Birthday MB. Stay away from the powdered mac and cheese and you should be just fine.

From the advanced age of 31, I can honestly tell you that 30 wasn't nearly as horrid as I thought it would be!
Belated Happy Birthday!

MB,

So Happy Belated Birthday. Did you notice how the country took the day off and the stores had such great sales to help you celebrate? I am jealous. My 30th is going to be the day after President's weekend (you know the first lousy day back after a 4 day weekend.)

Anyway, I am sure 30 will suit you just fine. Now you are old enough to write a memoir about your 20s. Just think how many appearances you'll be invited to with two books under your belt.

Hippo Birdies!

Just so you know, 30 was a piece of cake.

Now, 40 - that's a horse of a different color, and I am going to be riding said horse in only 11 months.

Soooo......enjoy 30 while you can. ;-)

30 isn't so bad; even 40 isn't. What IS so bad is realizing that you are all young enough to be my children. Good grief! Many more, MB.

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone :)
