I arrived in Leesburg last night flat on my back, slightly hurling, President Ford's funeral service coverage on the radio. There is a distinct possibility I will spend the next twenty years of my life here, and I wanted to make a good impression.

This is where Josh The Pilot lives and works. In six months, I will live and work here too, as his wife and deflector of wine in bags. The SuperTarget is very nice, as is the security lighting on the parking lot of the outlet mall. The four inches of sky and the Keystone Light empties I saw from the window smiled upon me as well. Virginia is approved; the F.F. Lees are well served.

I feel something approaching human again following the Season of Spew, and am now on the Diet of Things That Are White. Yesterday I had crackers, plain mashed potatoes, and vanilla pudding. Today I ventured into soup.

It's a new year, and a new life, and another chance at spices.

It's a new state.

Glad to hear you're feeling somewhat better. I stayed on that diet for a few days before moving on to anything resembling real food. It actually went well. I lost 8 pounds, and have managed to keep them off - through both Christmas and New Year's mind you - for over two weeks. Yay me!

You re going to love Virginia. I used to live in MD and would venture into VA and WV quite often. They were my first experience with actual seasons.

Who knew that virus' could travel the net? I read your spew post on Tuesday morning. I went home at noon, and am now just back to work. Blegh!

What can I say though, it's kinda fun to sleep 21 out of 24 hours a day. WEIRD dreams. By the time you're up and around, you don't recall what was real (aww hubby brought me a spew trash can) and what was not (Patricia Cornwell is really Chandra Wilson who I bumped into at a party with people that I haven't seen since middle school???)

Patricia C. is a middle aged white woman and Chandra Wilson plays Bailey on Grey's Anatomy. Yeah-- I don't know where my mind was...

Glad to be back.

If you like murder/suspense/mystery books, check out Patricia Cornwell and her Kay Scarpetta books.

4 Stars :)

Regurgitation is the controlled flow of stomach contents back into the esophagus and mouth. There are of course, other definitions.

Wow everyone's ringing in the new year sick... myself included. I hope you like your new home! I spent two weeks in Virginia last year; I liked it. It's... leafy.

Kay Scarpetta is the Cheif Medical Examiner of Virginia, based in Richmond! Yeah, I know, just a character, but I didn't remember that this post was about Virginia til just now. Brain cells awakening from their slumber AS. WE. SPEAK!!

Good luck, and good health MB.

(Got my copy of DTTL in the mail today! Woo Hoo!!)
