Drink To the Lasses

Well.

It seems I've written a book.

You've seen previews without even knowing it (here, here, and here) but the bulk of this--it's a college memoir--is new writing. I hope you like it. I hope you buy it. I hope you buy it, and like it, and tell your book-buying friends about it, too. I thank you kindly in advance.

You're mentioned, by the way. Page 155.

no, really, I wrote a book at: mb@blondechampagne.com

Click on the link, stacey-- you can order it online. I'm thrilled that you want one :)

Again, your writing, wit and well, some noun that I can't remember, render me speechless. Can I order a gross of your work?

Aw, thanks, susan... if there's one word I like to see linked with my work, it's "gross", so order away.

I suppose this means I no longer need to go through another fine-tooth comb edit of it? Sweet.

I also suppose that means I'm mentioned twice, which only makes sense, because I rule just that much.

Autographed copies will be made available (for purchase, obviously)to the faithful readers when?

"A book," you say.
"How perfect," say I.
Congratulations!
-Joel The Reader, who doesn't possess the hatred for New York that MB seems to, but can certainly empathize.

Oh, no, I don't hate it, Joel. I just FEAR it.

YEAH!!! Congrats, MB!! Can't wait to read it!

Congratulations!! That's awesome! I look forward to reading it!!

Buying, check. I'll keep you updated on liking and telling book-buying friends (although I'm pretty confident about the liking, since your free stuff has all been pretty darn good).
Way to go!

Who? Wha? Huh?

This is awesome but very out of the blue! You know that feeling you get when your friend springs big news on you, and you're happy because it's GREAT but you're disappointed that she didn't tell you what was going on before? Yeah, it's kind of like that. But not because, well, we've never met.

Ha.

Anyway, that's awesome!

It'll be top of my list for my next Amazon buy! :-)

I think maryj is VERY excited about this ;-)

either that or maryj shares MB's OCD ;-)

Awwwww... sorry if you felt left out, lina, but I wasn't sure everything was going to go according to plan until the very end. I wanted to wait until the book was safely out before I said anything. I'm a little freaky that way :)

Most excellent!

I can only commit to adding it to my wish list at the moment, since the pile of reading that I must currently plow through is threatening to topple from sheer height.

:P

Yay MB!! How exciting! What a wonderful accomplishment. I will definitely be ordering myself a copy! So when do the Mercy memoirs come out? ;-)

And when will the MoM womb pre-quel be available? :-)

Congrats MB - Ms. Otten and I are both ordering copies!

Anonymous said...

Hee! Oh, A LOT of names will have to changed for the MMH prequel, ladies. Perhaps I'll introduce my very own Jar Jar Binks. Or, you know, not.

But Mercy does make a guest appearance in a few pages.

Ahem....

As Ophelia asked,

Autographed copies are available (for purchase) when?

Anonymous said...
