Ask Josh The Pilot!

Given his popularity amongst the commenters, we're starting a new feature here on BlondeChampagne: Ask Josh The Pilot! Go ahead! Ask him anything! He'll respond to some of your questions in an upcoming post! If he feels like it!

I wanted to institute Ask Jim The Baby Nephew!, but all of his answers would pretty much consist of "Mama's truck," or, if you're lucky, "Two!" (Since his very favorite person in the universe is turning two next month, all attempts at counting pretty much begin and end here. You would expect more from the son of an accountant. Still, he's 99.99 more accurate than I am.)

Post your questions in the comments section or email to: mb@blondechampagne.com.

dusty,

After discussing extremely personal information about mb on a nationally syndicated radio talk show, I belive that jtp has officially given up his right to be mad about any "invasion of privacy" incurred because of mb's awesome blog

Dear JTP,

Got any brothers?

I don't like this feature ANY MORE.

Hi Josh!

I am flying to Miami from DC in a few weeks. I am really nervous, because I will be sitting in an "exit row" seat of the airplane. I don't know why, but I am afraid some crazy person will try to open up the door (or something) midflight and I will get sucked out. Should I be worried about this? Are there protections in place to prevent this from happening? Also, why isn't everyone on board an airplane issued a parachute? I mean, they could give it back when the flight was over. Are parachutes hard to work, or expensive? I am honestly worried, so don't kid too much if you can help it.

Thanks

Oh, poor annapink! There's nothing worse than being scared, I know. And telling you not to worry doensn't help much, does it? You need logic to make you feel better.

Fortunately, I'm dating a pretty logical person. I'm sure he'll have a great answer for you :)

Amiee: If you dump MB, can I have you?

I have a similar, but not a duplicate, question. :D

Dear Josh the Pilot,

Any hope of you getting a new vehicle in the near future?

Josh and Mary Beth. Get married when you are ready. No sooner, and no later. I for one can understand the being established a little bit. And OKC isn't the easiest thing on a relationship, especially on a brand new one. In an answer to your question in a previous PM from another site, things are going well. I would like to talk to you a bit more, drop me an email. You can get my address from my site, or MB has it.

Thanks, dan-- I think that's the best advice I've heard so far :) I will pass on the word to The Pilot.
